Miles Heizer is an American actor best known for his role in Rails & Ties, playing Davey Danner when he was 12 years old. From 2010 until 2015, Heizer starred in the NBC drama series Parenthood as Drew Holt, Sarah Braverman's son.

He portrays Tommy Mancuso in the film adaptation of Nerve.

Career[]

Heizer played Drew Holt on the critically acclaimed hit NBC series Parenthood, created by Jason Katims, until the series ended in 2015. He recently co-starred opposite Billy Crudup in The Stanford Prison Experiment, which premiered at Sundance 2016. He was also seen in the indie film Rudderless.

Born in Greenville, Kentucky, Heizer moved to Los Angeles when he was 10. He made his acting debut on CSI: Miami. In 2007, at 12 years old, he played the role of Davey Danner in the film Rails & Ties, for which he was nominated the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film. That same year, he had a recurring role on the NBC medical drama series ER.
