Marc John Jefferies is an American actor known for his roles in Losing Isaiah, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Power, and Notorious.

He portrays Wes in the film adaptation of Nerve.

Career[]

Jefferies’ portrayal of a young Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in Get Rich or Die Tryin’ gained him industry attention. He was later cast to depict rapper Lil’ Cease in the 2009 biopic Notorious. Most recently, Jefferies worked alongside Keke Palmer, Cory Hardrict and Malik Yoba in Brotherly Love. He will next be seen in Chapter & Verse with Loretta Devine, and Chocolate City: Vegas, alongside Vivica A. Fox, Michael Jai White and Mekhi Phifer.

Hailing from the Bronx, the actor began doing commercials at only three weeks old. At the age of 4 Jefferies played the title character in the 1995 drama Losing Isaiah. Not long after appearing in the sitcom Cosby, he became the child spokesperson for PeoplePC. Jefferies went on the co-star in such films as The Haunted Mansion, Stuart Little 2, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Spider-Man 2, Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son, Contest, LUV and Brown Sugar. He also voiced characters in Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.

Jefferies was a regular or recurring character on Starz’ Power, the NBC sitcom The Tracy Morgan Show, the NBC drama Third Watch, Showtime’s Dexter, NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the Nick at Nite animated series Fatherhood, and the acclaimed HBO drama Treme.
